Merging[edit source]

We should probably merge templates like this into a single template that takes a parameter to specify the feature (E.G., caravan power, development cost). Will probably end up rather bloated keeping it all separate. ~ Meneth (talk) 16:48, 2 August 2015 (CEST)

Which other modifiers needs a hover box? The naming is good. You don't have to handle the different cases and a lot of parameter. – Lillebror (talk) 17:02, 2 August 2015 (CEST)
Certainly a point. If there's only two that need this, then it isn't really an issue. If there's more though (not that I can think of any at this time), I strongly support consolidation. A simple switch statement based on the type parameter would be simple enough. ~ Meneth (talk) 17:08, 2 August 2015 (CEST)
Okay there are also “Migration cooldown”, “Church power”, “Monthly Fervor” …. I'm sure that you could also realize all amboxes with a single template. – Lillebror (talk) 17:22, 2 August 2015 (CEST)
Amboxes are standard stuff that apply to all the wikis. This is all very specific stuff.
Though there are certainly some arguments to keeping them as separate templates, so I'm not entirely sure.
Maybe Dauth has some input on this? ~ Meneth (talk) 17:28, 2 August 2015 (CEST)
I think when we're getting to 3 or more it makes sense to unify as one, plus I expect the number to increase with time and extra DLCs/patches. If that is the case its much easier to update one template. Care will be needed in case we have the case of Basegame =X, DLC1 =Y and DLC2 =Z but I think that it should be doable. Have we got any idea for the merged template name? Dauth (talk) 18:16, 2 August 2015 (CEST)
My considerations lead at the moment to two templates. The first is the current Development cost template. The second is a template that ignores the values and creates only a hover box for the modifier string. This template can be realized with only two parameter, the modifier name and a second which could activate a link. – Lillebror (talk) 18:57, 2 August 2015 (CEST)
Since nobody has come at my suggestion with two templates, I have packed everything now into a single one. Not very handy, … but it works. Name proposal: DLConly. – Lillebror (talk) 16:33, 14 September 2015 (CEST)
I'd suggest "DLC-only" rather than DLConly. Easier to read. ~ Meneth (talk) 16:39, 14 September 2015 (CEST)
Merged the templates to DLC-only. – Lillebror (talk) 09:58, 15 September 2015 (CEST)

May raid coasts is also available with golden century[edit source]

I just noticed that coastal raiding is also available with the golden century DLC and not only with mare nostrum --Grotaclas (talk) 12:00, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for your hint. Changed. – Lillebror (talk) 12:19, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

Missing recent changes[edit source]

Chance of new heir.png Monthly heir claim increase(monthly_heir_claim_increase) is a modifier which is only available with the Leviathan DLC. If I see it correctly, it is not replaced by anything if the DLC is not enabled. --Grotaclas (talk) 18:23, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
Migration cost I think migration cost(migration_cost) is only available with the Conquest of Paradise DLC and replaces migration cooldown since one of the 1.31 patches --Grotaclas (talk) 19:26, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
