The Production Interface, or as it is more commonly known - the Macro-builder, is a button located under the left side of the country crest at the top-left corner of the in-game screen.

The macro-builder contains some of the more commonly used actions in the game, presenting them with relevant color-coded and sortable information allowing for easier decision making. If the shown data is not enough, it is possible to hover over the present data to get a more in-depth tooltip.

The tabs are, from top to bottom:

Manpower.png Land units

Macrobuilder view (tab 01 - Land units)

This tab allows recruitment of land units.

  • Units shown are the ones chosen in the Tab domestic military.png military tab.
  • Units are displayed with stats and Gold Icon.png ducat cost (and amount for Mercenary manpower.png mercenaries ).
  • At the bottom are displayed the Land forcelimit.png land force limit and amount of units in production/queue per unit type.
  • Hovering shows amount of current unit type and it's Land maintenance modifier.png land maintenance.
  • Choosing a unit will color-code the provinces (green / red) and display Gold Icon.png ducat cost and Time Icon.png time to build.
  • Provinces in mid-progress display percentage progress and amount of units in queue.
  • It is possible to create an army template.

This tab allows coring of the uncored provinces in the nation.

  • Provinces are displayed with Development.png development, Overextension.png overextension and Administrative power.png administrative power cost. Provinces in-progress of coring will show progress bar.
  • Hovering shows the province's percentage contribution (its weight) to the current overextension level along with a break-down of the cost and time modifiers.
  • Uncored provinces are colored green and display Overextension.png overextension and Administrative power.png administrative power cost. Hovering shows expanded tooltip and Time Icon.png time to core.
  • Provinces in mid-progress display percentage progress.
  • Note: Territorial cores are not shown unless they belong to state provinces.

Missionaries.png Religious conversion

This tab allows conversion of provinces with non-state religion.

  • Provinces are displayed with current religion and Time Icon.png time to convert. Provinces in-progress of conversion will show progress bar.
  • Hovering shows current religion bonuses and expanded tooltip for Missionaries.png missionary strength.
  • Prospect provinces are colored green and display Missionaries.png missionary strength and Time Icon.png time to convert. Hovering shows expanded tooltip.
  • Provinces in mid-progress display percentage progress.

Autonomy.png Local autonomy

Macrobuilder view (tab 05 - Local autonomy)

This tab allows decreasing/increasing of local autonomy in provinces.

  • Provinces are displayed with most likely rebel type to spawn, Local autonomy.png local autonomy and color-coded National unrest.png unrest levels (white / red).
  • Hovering shows effects and Time Icon.png duration (date) of desired action (an expanded tooltip as well).
  • Prospect provinces are colored green and display Local autonomy.png local autonomy and color-coded National unrest.png unrest levels (white / red). Hovering shows expanded tooltip.
  • Provinces acted upon will be colored red for the duration of the action taken (Time Icon.png 30 years).

Culture conversion cost.png Culture conversion

This tab allows conversion of a province's culture.

  • At the top there is a button to chose Culture icon.png culture to convert into (advanced culture conversion requires The Cossacks.png DLC). Selecting a culture will display only the provinces that can be converted into that culture.
  • Provinces are displayed with current culture color-coded for acceptance (green / yellow / red) and Diplomatic power.png diplomatic power cost. Provinces in-progress of conversion will show progress bar.
  • Hovering shows current culture effects on province (from acceptance level) and Time Icon.png time to convert (an expanded tooltip as well).
  • Prospect provinces are color-coded (green / red depending on available diplomatic power), display Diplomatic power.png diplomatic power cost and Time Icon.png time to convert. Hovering shows expanded tooltip.
  • Provinces in mid-progress display percentage progress.

Macrobuilder view (tab 07 - Buildings)

This tab allows construction of buildings in provinces.

  • Buildings are displayed with Gold Icon.png ducat cost and upgrade path. Grayed-out buildings are not unlocked as of yet.
  • Hovering shows effects of building and Time Icon.png time to build (also Fort maintenance.png fort maintenance for Fort level.png forts). Grayed-out buildings display required technology to unlock.
  • Choosing a building will color-code the provinces (green / yellow / blue / red stripes - if there are not enough ducats) and display remaining building slots, Gold Icon.png ducat cost; as well as, if relevant, effects on Income.png income, Manpower.png manpower, Trade power.png trade power and Trade value.png trade value. Hovering shows Time Icon.png time to build and an expanded tooltip.

This tab allows estates assignment in provinces.

  • Estates are displayed with color-coded (green / yellow / red) Estate loyalty loyalty, Estate influence influence and Estate territory estate territory.
  • Hovering shows loyalty decay, influence modifiers break-down and a list of estate controlled provinces (an expanded tooltip as well).
  • Choosing an estate will color-code non-estate provinces with (green / red) stripes. Estate controlled provinces will be colored according to their estate and display the amount of influence they grant to that estate. Hovering over non-estate provinces shows effects of grant on the estate and estate effects on the province if it's potentially accepted; acceptance modifiers if it's potentially denied and revocation date if it's an estate controlled provinces.

This tab allows creation of Army / Navy templates for fast raising of unit. The templates can be accessed and created in each of the appropriate tabs; they work in the same manner for both army and naval tabs.

  • At the top give a template a desired name.
  • At the middle assign number to desired type of units and chose a number of provinces to build in simultaneously.
  • At the bottom are displayed Gold Icon.png ducat cost, Land maintenance modifier.png land maintenance / Naval maintenance modifier.png naval maintenance and Time Icon.png time to build (also Manpower.png manpower for land units).
  • At the most bottom click on the save button when done.
  • To use a saved template click on it on chose an area to build in (the units will built simultaneously in the surrounding provinces).
