Own core (yellow), own or subject own (orange), permanent claims after formation (pink)
The player should rival and attack Crimea before they can achieve any good alliance, during this first war the player should attack Ryazan and Odoyev and fully annex them before secure peace with Crimea, in orther to embrace Feudalism. The player should release Ryazan and feed it with orthodox lands.
If the players is going for the Gold Rush achievement the first war against Muscovy is crucial; Poland, Lithuania or Denmark are good allies if they rival Muscovy. After the first war against Muscovy the player should focus on others hordes.
If the player is going for the The Great Khan achievement there are two routes of expansion:
1) South, in Persia region and Khorasan region. Since Great Horde is Sunni could be better for the player focus fisrstly on Shia countries avoiding AE and coalition with other Sunni
2) East, in Tartary super-region. Since the countries in this region are usually Ming's tributaries the player could become a Ming tributary too, avoiding to fight with them.
Once Great Horde share a border with Ming the player should focus on let the Unguarded Nomadic Frontier disaster happen. When the disaster occur the player should be strong enough to fight Ming and siege down all the provinces, waiting for separatist rebels to spawn and for Ming to implode.
In the late game Great Horde can bloob or became more stable.
"Must-have" ideas for Great Horde are Humanist (for avoinding rebellions and increase religion unity), Administrative (for core creation reduction) and Aristocratic (for cavalry combat ability).
