Local development cost[edit]

That icon is already in the template as "development cost". ~ Meneth (talk) 15:20, 13 June 2015 (CEST)

Yes, I know. But "Guarantee Religious Minorities" issues reduce development cost only for one province. Stigni (talk) 15:37, 13 June 2015 (CEST)
The icon is the same for both; I've checked the game files. ~ Meneth (talk) 15:39, 13 June 2015 (CEST)

Parliament page[edit]

Is there anything more missing from the parliament page, or is everything there now? Is every issue on there now for example? Thanks, ~ Meneth (talk) 23:29, 15 June 2015 (CEST)

Today I was quite busy. Tomorrow I will add the last issues, and recheck everything. Stigni (talk) 23:36, 15 June 2015 (CEST)

Tuscany's Goverment[edit]

If you go through the historic dates tuscany is at first a despotic monarchy and later an enlightened despotism. --Gsueso (talk) 19:16, 1 July 2015 (CEST)

They become a Despotic Monarchy in 1532. The "first" government is Oligarchic Republic, so we take that. Stigni (talk) 20:07, 1 July 2015 (CEST)
No, florence starts as an oligarchic republic and later becomes a feudal monarchy, tuscany itself starts as a despotic monarchy. --Gsueso (talk) 20:11, 1 July 2015 (CEST)
Chances are you're both correct. In 1444, Tuscany is an Oligarchic Republic. But it doesn't actually exist in 1444.
In 1532 it becomes a Despotic Monarchy. This is presumably when, or before, it actually shows up in-game.
The government form actually used in the first moment in time the country shows up in-game should be used. Alternatively, "Feudal Monarchy" should be used as that's what the formation decision forces. ~ Meneth (talk) 20:16, 1 July 2015 (CEST)
The first time TUS shows up is in 1569, and as I said in 1532 it become a Despotic Monarchy. But I am for Oligarchic Republic for two reason:
1. Coherence with Countries
2. As Tuscany is primary nation for Tuscan culture it could show up early as Oligarchic Republic.

Maldives[edit]

You seem to be pretty good at getting the countries linked up as part of the continent pages, can you do the Maldives too? Dauth (talk) 21:04, 3 July 2015 (CEST)

Done. Stigni (talk) 21:21, 3 July 2015 (CEST)

Events[edit]

Meneth has them all here [1]. I don't think I'm going to be able to add them as quick as you. Dauth (talk) 21:58, 3 July 2015 (CEST)

Worth noting as mentioned that it's WIP. The pages are pretty much guaranteed to need a later update to fix various jankiness that'll be worked out as I further develop the parser. ~ Meneth (talk) 23:25, 3 July 2015 (CEST)

Account merge[edit]

Seems you didn't merge your Paradox Account with your old wiki account, so your edits were lost from your "user contributions" page. I've reassigned them to your new account now though, fixing the issue. ~ Meneth (talk) 12:04, 3 December 2015 (CET)

Halfop[edit]

I've made you a halfop on the wikis due to your significant contributions, especially in talk page discussions. This means you can now:

  • Delete and undelete pages
  • Suppress redirects when moving pages
  • Edit protected pages (except those with cascading protection, which is essentially just the main page)
  • Rollback all edits to a page by a single user so that the last edit *not* by that user is restored, with a single click (great for removing vandalism)

~ Meneth (talk) 14:29, 6 January 2016 (CET)

Thanks. Stigni (talk) 14:49, 6 January 2016 (CET)

Region page NIs[edit]

I want to implement a NI handling idea you suggested a couple of weeks ago. I have a mock-up here, though its not pretty. Thought maybe you have something to add/change? ~ SolSys (talk) 17:24, 6 January 2016 (CET)

I will think about it when we finish this work on NIs. Stigni (talk) 17:16, 7 January 2016 (CET)
I thought something like this. Stigni (talk) 10:34, 8 January 2016 (CET)
This could be a solution, but it makes all NI infoboxes collapsible. I think such a feature is only necessary in the country lists. So my suggestion is to make the content only collapsible if its needed.
|content={{#ifeq: {{lc:{{{collapsed|}}}}}|yes|<div class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed">}} ... {{#ifeq: {{lc:{{{collapsed|}}}}}|yes|</div>}}
– Lillebror (talk) 11:18, 8 January 2016 (CET)
You are right, now it works. Stigni (talk) 11:26, 8 January 2016 (CET)
Yes, that looks nice. It doesn't require layout changes or work with tabs [maybe will leave it for the future] so it can implemented even now with the smaller tables. Can the collapse tag appear in the header to save more space and for styling? ~ SolSys (talk) 11:33, 8 January 2016 (CET)

[Unrelated] I think every country Dauth already changed to use transclution can be changed to the new template by using AWB [I beleive he got to Italy ]. ~ SolSys (talk) 17:13, 7 January 2016 (CET)

I know, I used AWB to change from the transclution to the new template for A-countries. Stigni (talk) 17:16, 7 January 2016 (CET)

Italy[edit]

Hi. I saw you reverted my change on Italy's primary culture. As noted in my edit, I recently (1.14.3) formed Italy with Venice and the primary culture didn't change to Lombard, but stayed Venetian. The changelog for 1.14.4 didn't mention changing this, so I am quite confident that the current page is incorrect. Gorath99 (talk) 10:19, 21 January 2016 (CET)

In the country page we insert the default culture for the country. For Italy you can see in /Europa Universalis IV/history/countries/ITA - Italy.txt that there is primary_culture = lombard. So for historical start in 1800ca where Italy exist it has lombard culture. Of course if you form Italy as Venice you will keep your primary culture, as you do if you form GBR as Scotland or Spain as Aragon/Portugal; or look at Bharat/Hindustan any indian culture (and they are in 5 different group) can form them or Germany where only Westphalian, Pommeranian, Rhenish, Saxon, Bavarian, Prussian, Swabian and Franconian nation can form it. If we insert for each Formable Nation a note in the infobox as you have done for Italy some infobox (Indian Nation/Germany/...) will be too much complicated; so if you want insert a note about the culture in the Decision section but not in the infobox. Stigni (talk) 10:35, 21 January 2016 (CET)
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for explaining! Gorath99 (talk) 10:59, 21 January 2016 (CET)

Army maintenance[edit]

Thanks for catching that I managed to lose a section while editing over two different sessions—sorry 'bout that. I believe the information that's there now is up-to-date for 1.18, would it be alright for me to update the SVersion template now, or is there more to change? Philadelphus (talk) 11:51, 20 October 2016 (CEST)

I only re-added the missing section, if the informations are correct you can update the SVersion template. Stigni (talk) 11:54, 20 October 2016 (CEST)
Thanks, I've gone ahead and updated to 1.18. Philadelphus (talk) 21:22, 21 October 2016 (CEST)
