Infoboxes[edit source]

In order to make keeping a unified style easier, I ported your work over to a new template: Template:Infobox.

{header}
{content}

This can then be used in other templates:

{idea1effect}

{idea2}

{idea2effect}

{idea3effect}

{idea4}

{idea5}

This means that several templates can use the same unified style. At need we can extend the capabilities of the infobox template to make room for more complex templates. This should reduce replication of work by a good deal. ~ Meneth (talk) 13:06, 3 September 2013 (CEST)

Fantastic, glad the work's appreciated. Meneth, any chance I could have edit permissions for mediawiki.css and the navbox templates? It'd be ideal to create a few classes and things that we can tag elements as, as opposed to constantly copying and pasting CSS snippets across templates.
(Background: I've been a sysop/moderator on a number of previous, moderately sized wikis in the past few years. So I shouldn't blow anything up!)

I generally don't give up sysop privileges, sorry (the only sysops currently are me, Kimberly (she did an absolute ton of work over on the Vic2 wiki), Junuxx from the Paradoxian EU3 Wiki, and the sysops from the imported Vic2 Wiki). But just stick whatever changes you want made on the relevant Talk page and I'll implement it, assuming it doesn't break anything.
No worries, I can totally understand.
.eu4box {
    border: 2px solid #2C353C;
    border-radius: 6px;
    background: #536D7A;
    color: white !important;
    padding: 5px;
    margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;
    float: left;
}

.eu4box-heading {
    background: #3E4E51;
    border-radius: 6px;
    padding: 0px 6px 0px;
}
These should do for now, just for the basic box stylings. I'll let you know if there's anything else :)
(P.S. couldn't add Navy to the military footer navbox, could you?

Done and done.

Navboxes[edit source]

The navbox style you created has now been implemented globally. ~ Meneth (talk) 00:16, 8 September 2013 (CEST)

Germanic Region flags[edit source]

In the Germanic Region topic some flags are incorrect while there filename is correct, I guess these are wrongly uploaded how do I change that?

If you click the images on the page, you'll be taken to their filepages where you can upload new versions of them. Make sure you keep the same proportions.
P.S.
  • When starting a new discussion, click the 'Add Topic' link tab in the top right of the page and it'll make a new heading to separate the conversation from other ones.
  • Sign off your comments with 4 tildes (~~~~) so other people know who posted and when :)
