Through conquest and diplomacy Russia has managed to transform from a mere settlement into a dominant principality. After several eastern expeditions the Mongol hordes have finally been subdued and a centralized Russian state, ruled under the suzerainty of the Tsar, is emerging. Influences from Western Europe are helping us modernize and reform our nation and Western style of education is being adopted.

StrategyEdit

  The below is one of many player suggested strategies for Tver. Bear in mind, due to the dynamic nature of the game, it may unfold differently for other players.

Immediately fabricate a claim on your bordering province with Novgorod. At the same time, increase relations with denmark, poland, and kazan. If kazan gets messed up before golden horde, try to ally golden horde. At first it may seem like they wont ally you, but once you build an army and the game progresses a few years they will. If poland doesnt get the PU over lithuania, ally Lithuania. As soon as Muscovy invades Novgorod, take as many provinces as possible even if it says muscovy will coalition you. You need to occupy all of the south before muscovy does. After taking 100% warscore worth of territory from Novgorod, which should include the province of Novgorod and Neva, fabricate a claim on livonian order and invade when they or their allies are busy. Take as much land as possible also from Riga. At this point you need to spend some years killing rebels and building an army. You might even get a peasants war but dont panic, may as well deal with it now rather than later. Either muscovy invades you, or you reach a point where you feel confident to invade them. The first war is the hardest, and you should atleast try to get your core in Rzehv and parts of Pskov. 2nd war you gotta go for Moscow itself and surrounding cities. At that point its pretty easy. I ended up invading norway, taking iceland and colonizing canada.
