Terra Incognita[edit]

Could someone update the Terra Incognita section, expanding on exactly how "diplomacy and time" leads to lifting the veil? Playing as Aztecs, I've been trying to reach Panama so I can put the second merchant to work, but army refuses to march into terra incognita for reason beyond me. Maybe I need a higher discipline level. :) 23:35, 15 August 2013 (CEST)

You need a conquistador to march armies into terra incognita. 12:00, 5 September 2013 (CEST)

Does it really need to be said here that Russia has an idea that alters how Terra Incognito works? --Gbear605 (talk) 08:39, 31 May 2014 (CEST)

Seems relevant to me. It's only one sentence. ~ Meneth (talk) 12:07, 31 May 2014 (CEST)

can pass without exploration[edit]

I don't have exploration Idea group (I have only expansionist, so no conquistadors/explorers). But I could land on Islands that are marked as "terra incognita", when I was at war with Spain and saw that the border of an island is yellowish(Spain color). idk if it's a bug in terms of I shouldn't be able to do this, or it's a visual bug, since I have a lot further lands already discovered. 23:31, 11 January 2015 (CET)

You are granted access through terra incognita of a specific country when fighting said country. Its capital is revealed at the very start of the war and you can explore the rest. Docteur, there to serve. (talk) 00:26, 12 January 2015 (CET)

What exactly needs to be clarified? ~Strijdheld

This line apparently: "After a certain period of time, an exploratory nation's discoveries will be revealed to other nations. The time between discovery and spread of information is influenced by culture. [More info necessary]". Sign your Talk comments with four tildes (~~~~. ~ Meneth (talk) 18:33, 17 November 2013 (CET)

Map with province id[edit]

Does anyone know of a map with the province IDs printed on them? One for CKII would be appreciated as well. -- 18:04, 8 December 2013 (CET)

Here you go: File:Province ID map.png. ~ Meneth (talk) 18:06, 8 December 2013 (CET)

Terrain color[edit]

colors for new terrain types don't make much sense to me: highlands should be similar color to hills, but instead they're mountain color. steppe and grasslands should have similar color but instead they have drastic beige & pink.. is there a mod that would fix that? 04:16, 28 February 2015 (CET)

Random nations don't show up in lobby[edit]

with new in 1.10 option of totally random nations + custom nation, it just shows your custom nation and occupation stripes when you click on a save in the lobby, the rest of the world shows as colonizable lands. Which also means that you can't swap nations. 14:37, 3 March 2015 (CET)
