Getting it finished[edit]

We should work to get this implemented relatively soon. It'll help cut down on the number of tiny pages by a lot.

As to how to sort it, culture probably makes the most sense. I don't think there's any real reason to make a distinction between Hindu and Muslim nations beyond noting it in the "religion" column, and a note at the beginning about NIs. ~ Meneth (talk) 14:37, 17 October 2013 (CEST)

I added the Gujarati and Maratha sections, but as you can see it's missing Gujarat and the Marathas' flags.

Moved Malwa to the Sultanate section too, because while they're Rajput, they're also Muslim, which disqualifies them from Rajput ideas.

Removed Punjab from the minor list, since they have unique national ideas. (And pretty awesome ones at that)

Also, there's a rather unique situation. According to the game files, Gwalior gets Maratha ideas, but ONLY if they have Marathi culture, but at game start they have Kanauji culture. How do we handle this? ~ Pinpinolo (talk) 15:10, 20 October 2013 (CEST)

I think it is best to leave out Gujarat, as its page actually has a sizeable amount of content. As that only leaves a single country with Gujarati ideas, it's best to stick it in "other states". Beyond that though, good changes. ~ Meneth (talk) 15:14, 20 October 2013 (CEST)

Would it be a good idea to use the "Notes" column to link to the country's events page if they have one? Rather check before I go changing things up. Bengal is the country I had in mind, fyi TheWinner (talk) 21:21, 7 November 2014 (CET)

Looking over the events page, it seems that only countries that have Unique NIs and have a good few ideas get an events page, and the rest that have Unique NI's get it put onto their actual page. Bengal and probably a few others fall under the oddity of having a few events yet not having unique NIs. I'm unsure on what the solution is... Not bother to transcribe the events of countries like Bengal, or make a collective page for them? (I'll wait for a response before I delete the Bengal events page, I think) TheWinner (talk) 22:34, 7 November 2014 (CET)
Add a notes column, yeah. Most of the region pages have that. ~ Meneth (talk) 22:36, 7 November 2014 (CET)

Notable Nations[edit]

If Bengal is not supposed to be a notable nation, why is Gujarat one? Gujarati ideas are shared by few countries as well. Puchacz (talk) 19:35, 19 August 2015 (CEST)

Gujarat is notable due to its unique mission.
I didn't notice the Bengali events though; that makes it notable. ~ Meneth (talk) 19:47, 19 August 2015 (CEST)
What are the exact rules for a country to be notable? How about Nagaur? It has its own achievement. Puchacz (talk) 06:49, 20 August 2015 (CEST)
Being above the base tier, having own events or decisions or missions. I agree country specific achievements would also make a country notable. Does the Nagaur achievement have a guide ready? Dauth (talk) 09:59, 20 August 2015 (CEST)
I don't think so. Right now working on Norwegian Wood. Perhaps later. Puchacz (talk) 10:02, 20 August 2015 (CEST)
