Dominate Trade

Irrawaddy Trade We assert dominance over the Irrawaddy river trade by outmatching our competitors and establishing a large merchant fleet. Foothold on Sumatra If we wish to control the lucrative spice trade we must first establish a foothold in the Malay world. Aceh, the tip of Sumatra, would be an excellent landing site. Dominate the Spice Trade With a foothold secured, we can set our sights on the richest trade ports in the region. We will become the masters of spice. March to Bengal

This situation is unlikely to last long, so we should conquer them before Bengal gets the chance. Restore Mon Hegemony

Restore Hariphunchai Before the Thai migrations, the Mon Kingdom of Hariphunchai ruled the north. We should restore this realm under our guidance. Reconquer Dvaravati The Mon-speaking Dvaravati civilization once dominated the land now ruled by the Thais. It is time for this ancient culture to experience a ressurgence.	At least 12 provinces in the following areas are owned by Pegu or its non-tributary subjects: Central Thailand North Tenasserim Khorat Sukhothai	Pegu gets “Mon Resettlement” for the rest of the game, giving: −25% Culture conversion cost If Ayutthaya is our non-tributary subject: Ayutthaya: Is renamed “Dvaravati” Set country flag is_dvaravati Adopts 'Mon' culture Gain Siamese as an accepted culture. Mon Resettlement The Mon people were once found all across South-East Asia, but are now reduced to Lower Burma. We should spread our culture once more. Annex Upper Burma

Up the Irrawaddy We have become strong enough to challenge the might of Ava. We shall launch a campaign along the Irrawaddy and subjugate the Burmans.	The following areas are owned by Pegu or its non-tributary subjects: Central Burma Upper Burma	Pegu gains 20 army tradition	Resist the Burmans
Pray at Pagan Our old rivals in the Pagan Kingdom were skilled architects and devout Buddhists. Their pagodas have fallen into decay under Ava, and we should restore them. The Golden Land Suvarnabhumi was a legendary kingdom of ancient times. It has been an ambition of many empires to replicate the glory of the Golden Land, though none have yet succeeded. We shall be the first. Venerate the Buddha

Renovate the Golden Pagoda The Golden Pagoda at Dagon is our crowning achievement, but it is in need of renovations. It must stand as the greatest monument in the Buddhist world. Ties with Ceylon Ceylon is the most sacred place in Theravada Buddhism and of great importance to our monastic traditions.
