Mushasha represents the country created by Muhammad ibn Falah, arabian theologian born in Iraq, who believed himself to be the earthly representative of Ali and the Mahdi (shiite messiah). Shaykh Fahd issued a fatwa to the effect that Muhammad b. Fallah should be executed. Many Sunni rulers also called for the liquidation of this religious movement as heretical. But propaged theology of coming end of the world has attracted many fanatical shiite tribes to theologian. Owned forces allowed to obtain lands in the edge of Iraq and create a dynastic, half-religious country. State tried to extend its theology and cult of the monarch to other Shiite regions. Over time, theology approached the orthodoxy of Twelver Shi'ism, same country became a vassal of Persia and Turkey.

As the sect continue to gain followers and financial assets it remains unclear whether Ibn Falah or any of his successors will become a significant factor in the politics of Persia

Strategy[edit]

Strategy The below is one of many player suggested strategies for Mushasha. Bear in mind, due to the dynamic nature of the game, it may unfold differently for other players.

Starting situation[edit]

Small shiite nation in sea of sunni nations. 5 provinces with 41 development, the most important province is Basra (Natural Harbor and 11 development). In north big shiite tribe Flag of Qara Qoyunlu Qara Qoyunlu. In east two big sunni blocks of Timmurid dynasty - Flag of Fars Fars (vassal of Flag of Timurids Timurids) and Flag of Luristan Luristan (vassal of Flag of Ajam Ajam). In south sunni Flag of Haasa Haasa. West side is secured by wastelands "Badiyat Ash Sham". One province have unaccepted culture, persian; one province is heretic. Mushasha have four non-owned cores, three in north and one in east.

Persian way[edit]

You can use collapse of Flag of Timurids Timurids power, and in alliance with Flag of Qara Qoyunlu Qara Qoyunlu, conquest persian lands. The first thing to do was to master the northern coast of the Persian Gulf - expansive goods and three CoT (Hormuz with 2 lvl) can be source of great income from production and trade. When vassals fight for independence, you try to conquer as many lands as possible - later there will be a problem, because strong alliances will form. So try use bargain when Flag of Ajam Ajam will be at war and conquer them several lands.

In Piety Piety events if first period you should be focused on Mysticism.png Mysticism way. Call on Religious Followers Call on Religious Followers will be very imporant in thoses early, very hard wars.

You can choose Flag of Haasa Haasa as rival and, if he haven't greater alliances, in war first humiliate and next force him to convert to Shi'ite. This wil be easy realization of two objectives (Humiliate in "Age of Discovery" and forced convert in "Age of Reformation").

On this path, should accept the Persian culture and then recognize it as the main culture. This will open the gate to formation of Persia, with better National Ideas, missions and events. You can have problem, when natural ally Flag of Qara Qoyunlu Qara Qoyunlu, will conquest needed lands to formation. You can wait, very often QQ have internal problems or hard war with Flag of Mamluks Mamluks and this will be opportunity to conquest needed lands. As formted Flag of Persia Persia probably you will be great and QQ will not be needed as main and non-alternative ally.

Iraqi way[edit]

In this way you need some luck, because you need alliance with Flag of Ajam Ajam and problems of Flag of Qara Qoyunlu Qara Qoyunlu. This tribal federation often have internal problems of hard war with Flag of Mamluks Mamluks, so there is a good chance of conquering Iraqi lands. When you will have whole Iraq you can go to Caucassuss or Levant. This will be determined how expansionist will be Flag of Ottomans Ottomans and which direction aggression of AI will direct.

You can use Arabian Penisula as extra source of money or cheap vassals.

Choice of ideas[edit]

In early game this composition should be most effective

  • Trade - started Basra and later Persia od Aleppo trade nodes are great to create income.
  • Offensive - siege ability bonus will be helpful for sieges in iranian mountains. Better stats of generals will be best in war of this region.
  • Religious/Economy - determined whether you plan to change NI to persian or not; for make up for deficiencies of modifiers.
