Manchu is a formable nation, able to be created by Flag of Haixi Haixi, Flag of Jianzhou Jianzhou, Flag of Xibe Xibe, Flag of Nanai Nanai, and Flag of Orochoni Orochoni, or any other country with Jurchen primary culture. It exists in game starts between 1616 and 1637. When Manchu is formed uniting the former 5 nations, it borders Flag of Ming Ming and Flag of Korea Korea in the south, Flag of Korchin Korchin in the west, and Flag of Nivkh Nivkh and Flag of Solon Solon in the north.

Provinces in yellow must be owned and cored to form Manchu. Cores are gained in all solid colored green provinces after formation, while shaded provinces are permanently claimed.
