Dominance of the Tribes
The Tribes have grown so powerful they assumed de facto control over our country.

Dominance of the Tribes[1] is a disaster that may occur in countries with a powerful TribesTribes estate.

Prerequisites[edit | edit source]

The country has a TribesTribes estate which has at least 80 Estate influence influence.

If these prerequisites are met, the monthly progress can begin.

The country:

  • does not have an ongoing disaster.
  • has a Tribes estate with at least 100 influence.
The country:
  • has an ongoing disaster or has a Tribes estate with less than 100 influence.

If the progress reaches 100%, the disaster will start with the following event:

$MONARCH$ has allowed the $ESTATE_NOMADIC_TRIBES$ of $COUNTRY$ to grow too powerful and now they have made their move. Using the influence they already had over our state in terms of control over everything from tax collection to the directing and recruitment of our armies, they have effectively seized the reins of government and turned the $MONARCHTITLE$ into little more than their puppet.

The country:

  • loses Stability.png 1 stability.

[Root.GetName] will now be controlled by the Tribes until the 'Curtail the Tribes' decision is taken.

While the disaster is ongoing the country suffers:

  • Idea cost.png +50% idea cost
  • Technology cost.png +50% technology cost
  • Development cost.png +50% development cost

The Tribes have made the Khan into their puppet, enforcing unwanted laws and traditions. To take the power back from them we will need to curtail their power and privileges.


 
Potential requirements

The country:

  • has an ongoing ‘Dominance of the Tribes’ disaster.[4]
Allow

The country:

  • has a stability of at least 1.
  • does not have rebel armies in its provinces.
  • does not have rebel controlled provinces.
  • has a Tribes estate which influence is lower than 60.

Effects

The country:[5]

  • loses Stability.png 3 stability.

The capital province:

  • loses Base tax.png 1 base tax.
  • loses Production.png 1 base production.

Then the following event is triggered.
