Chile is a South American country that is available in game starts after the 18th September 1810.

Formation[edit]

Chile can also be formed by any former colonial nation with its capital in Colonial La Plata (colonial region).^[1]

The time has come to shake off the last remains of our colonial past. We must form a proper nation and solidify our claims to this region.


Potential requirements The game is not using a random New World. The country: is not a nomad nation. was never an end-game tag. is a colonial nation or former colonial nation. owns a province in Colonial La Plata (colonial region). has not formed one of these countries before. If this country is AI-controlled, it must own at least 3 provinces.	Allow The country: is a former colonial nation. has an administrative technology of at least level 10. is not a subject nation other than a tributary state. is not at war. owns its core provinces: Iquique (793), Copiapo (792),Picunmapu (787), Huillimapu (784) and Kawesqar (783). Chile does not exist.

Effects The country: changes to Chile. gains a permanent claim on every non-owned province of Colonial La Plata. gains 25 prestige. gets the modifier “Increased Centralization” for 20 years with the following effects: −0.05 monthly autonomy change, +1 national unrest. If the country: is a member of the Holy Roman Empire and not an elector or the emperor then all its provinces are removed from the HRE. is a duchy then it becomes a kingdom.
