Brazil is a formable country in South America that is not available at any game start, as Brazil only got independence one year after the end of the game's timeframe in 1822. It has a unique set of national ideas.
Brazil can be formed by any former colonial nation with its capital in the Colonial Brazil region. Additionally, Brazil can be formed by Portugal taking the decision to flee to Brazil.
Form Brazilian Nation
The colonial masters who wished to enslave us are gone. It is time to form a truly independent country of our own. From this day forth the watchword of Brazil will be 'Independence or Death!'
Flee to Brazil
Portugal is in ruins! The monarch and the court must make haste across the sea before our enemies descend upon us once more. Though it will be painful to leave Portugal behind, we shall surely create a glorious new Empire in Brazil.
- ↑ the country flag no_colonial_nations prevents the formation of colonial nations, but they can still be acquired by annexing a country which has colonial nations
