Arawak is a tribe which has a single province on the northern coast of South America. It is the primary nation of the Lokono culture. Arawak has no direct neighbors. Carib, their historical rival, is located two provinces to the west.

The Carib tribe, traditionally an enemy of our people, have begun to expand eastwards and now holds the mouth of the Orinoco. For many of our people this is a frightening development. Some feel we should refuse to fear the Caribs and strike at them ourselves before they can harm us.
