Ajuuraan is a country in the Horn of Africa region of eastern Africa. In 1444 it is adjacent to its vassal Flag of Mogadishu Mogadishu, one province minor Flag of Pate Pate, and Flag of Marehan Marehan, and thus in a relatively safe position. It employs units from the African technology group as do its neighbors however, opponents across the Red Sea in Arabia flaunt the stronger Muslim units. Depending on the individual game the Flag of Ottomans Ottomans might also expand into conflict with Ajuuraan later on, and mid to late game is certain to find western European powers intruding into the Indian Ocean as well. Ajuuraan follows the Shafi'i school Shafi'i school of Islam.
